Taormina, the last stop of our trip and such a beautiful city. It’s situated on a very high point in the east coast of Sicily, so there’s a lot of high points to sight seeing and you even see mount Etna from there. It’s very famous for the monuments, like the Teatro Antico de Taormina or the beautiful beaches, like Isola Bella. The streets are very touristic and there’s so many restaurants! It’s a bit more expensive than all the other cities we’ve been so we totally could experience the down side of the tourism ahaha Anyway, we spent a wonderful time there. Between the city, the city and monument tours we did, my favorite part was definately the Isola Bella and the Vila Comunale garden. Also, one of the best things you can eat are the famous Arancinis! We ate so many of these (and with pistachios)! Afterall, we spent two days there but it’s very easy to see everything in this period of time. The town is quite small and you can do more tours if you want to go to Mount Etna or boat seeing.
